Sweating For the Wedding?

June 12, 2015 / no comments

Are you someone who plans on juicing before the big day? If so, you may want to rethink twice before starving yourself to fit in your dress. Many brides are at a loss when it comes to how to lose weight, and think juicing will be a fast and easy way. However, what most brides don’t know is, you can actually gain double the weight once you stop juicing and start eating a regular diet again. This is because your metabolism gets used to not having to break down certain foods therefore causing it to slow down.

However, there is no need to panic! We are here to give some personal tips on how to help you lose weight before the wedding so you can stop juicing and start eating!

1. Eat 5 times a day

Eating throughout the entire day will help you from overeating and help keep your metabolism burning off food all day long.

We personally recommend eating most of your food in the morning. For example, if you eat Breakfast at 7:00 am, then allow yourself a snack at 10:00 am and lunch around 12:00 pm. Therefore, you won’t need as big of portions, which also helps your body burn off more.  We then recommended having a snack at 3:00 pm and dinner at 6:00pm. However, it is important your eating times are planned around your personal schedule, as some start their morning later due to a later work schedule.

2. Infused water

We have all heard how important drinking water is, especially when you are trying to lose weight. However, water sometimes doesn’t satisfy that lingering craving for something sweet. Therefore, why not infuse your water for a fun refreshing taste. There are a number of combinations that have amazing health benefits and can actually help you loose weight! So take advantage of the summer and all the amazing fruits you can find.

3. Say yes to fat… healthy fats that is

Many people have the misconception that all fats are bad, when in fact this is completely untrue. In fact, a lot of the super-foods that help with weight lose are high in fat. This does not mean we are giving you the green light to head to your local McDonalds. The fats we are talking about are found in foods such as avocados, nuts, egg yolks, coconut and olive oil. The difference is, these fats are the good kinds of fats that can help your body lose weight.

super

If you are wondering what makes them so super, it is because these foods are packed with large amounts of antioxidants, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals. It is also said that these foods may reduce the risk of chronic disease, and prolong life, and people who eat more of them are healthier and thinner than those who don’t.

5. Sweat!

Unfortunately, it is true; in order to shed those stubborn pounds, exercise is a must, especially if you sit at a desk all day. We recommend exercising at least five times a week. For those of you who cannot bear the thought of spending your precious spare time working out, then why not break it up! 10 mins of yoga in the morning to wake up, 20 min walk at lunch, 15 min bike ride after dinner. You will be surprised how much more energy you will have, not to mention how good it will make you feel!
